I am just about 11 weeks pregnant, why did it take dr. Neil brickmans office a week to notify me to tell me I have a uti? One, they know my history with getting utis, I have been hospitalized more than once for them and get them frequently, it only takes a couple minutes to test for a uti. Two, after doing my research pregnant women are more prone to get a uti so why wasn't my urine sample tested sooner? Three, after I got my antibiotic I called his office back to see if I should come back to get tested again to make sure it's gone, (mine normally get so bad one prescription of antibiotics doesn't cut it) their responds was "no wait until your next appointment". I believe this situation was handled very unprofessionally and I was not happy!
