The best decision I ever made!

I have been a patient of his for ten years. When he relocated to Mountain Island from Gastonia, North Carolina, I continue to go to him even though I live in Gastonia. His excellent work, bedside manners, and overall personality will keep me as a patient as long as he is in business! Exposure to radiation including the sun, appliances in your home, and dental X-rays, can cause some damage your body. Fortunately, in dentistry today with the invention of digital x-rays the dose of radiation you are exposed to is VERY small. Dental x-rays only focus on a small area and have a higher speed so the dose is very small and fast. A lead-lined apron is placed over you and protects you from stray radiation. In addition, the government requires dental x-ray machines be checked every two years to ensure their proper function and dose. Top

Keeping your tooth covered is of utmost importance in this situation to prevent sensitivity and decay. Be careful not to swallow it if it becomes un-cemented.
