Stay away! These people do crap work. We used Home Depot to get some new linoleum installed to remove a trip hazard (seam had come undone on the old linoleum) for my 89-year-old mother in law who lives in a different city - so we weren't on-site for the installation.

The linoleum had a square pattern of tiles on it and they installed it on a bias. Apparently they couldn't be bothered to line it up with the walls of the room. We're just going to live with the angled installation since we don't want to let these people back into the house.

They left the linoleum with sticky glue residue all over it and handed my mother in law a container of mineral spirits and told her that she would have to clean the surface of the linoleum.

After spending two thousand dollars I found myself scrubbing the floor to remove the glue during our Thanksgiving visit.

Avoid this company, Cooper Flooring, as they will add more charges to your bill. This company is a Home Depot Subcontractor and they tried to add 500.00 charge to what we already paid Home Depot. So our install bill would have went for 4 rooms of wood flooring from 1300.00 to 1800.00. What an unethical company. We refused them at our door and called Home Depot to get our money back. Went with another contractor and they did the job for 800. So we cut the bad contractor out and got our floors done with a top notch company for a lot less.

Where to begin. To try and summarize it took them three months to install approximately 170 square feet of tile and there's still areas I need to touch up. Problems include untruthfulness of the installer, what I believe would have been the theft of left over tile if I had not been observant and the inability to professionally install a small amount of tile. Home Depot has contracted with this company and I see that my service on tile installation is par for the course with other reviews. If I was Home Depot I would re-evaluate what they want their name associated with. I mailed a very lengthy letter to both Cooper Installation Services and Home Depot, but am doubtful it will do any good. I had planned to use the same tile throughout my house, but am currently in search for a new supplier and definitely a more professional installation service.

We purchased from HD nearly two weeks in advance. Home Depot was offering a 7 day install but 2 weeks would work with us. Originally, we had it for a day that I was already off. 2 days before original install day, they call 2 see if we up a day. So on the newly rescheduled day (they requested ) i make sure they were still coming today. She says they are supposed to call 30 min prior to the arrival time to let us know they are coming. The window was 1-5. It was already near 4. Later a man from cooper called saying that they weren't even half way through a previous job and still had a lot to move. I was furious. I explained that we moved our day up because of their request and u burnt time at my job to WAIT on them . I demanded that it would be installed today, no matter how late. He calls back and allegedly no crew would finish before 6. OMG! I burnt time to wait for nothing! I am going to be pissed if this happens tomorrow. paid over 3k for shoddy service.

Cooper Installation Services is awful. If they had a zero stars that is what they would get. First they showed up late for installation, they that keep adding on things to be done when we had already paid for the tile and installation. With the add ons they were charging for 3 hours @ $155.00 and hour when it actually took them a half hour. They then had another add on and it was to apply red gard to the floor and they applied it wrong. The next day instead of laying tile they added another ad on and they sent a representative on the second day to address our complaints and all she did was talk over us and told my father in law to shut up. Then when her reminded her that she was talking over us and that she told him to shut up she took her crew and left!! Job unfinished with a freezer and table left in my living room, all of the rest of my furniture in the garage, dust and grime all over everything because before they ground the floor they didn't' cover anything and one dissatisfied customer. Don't use Cooper Installation Services if you don't have to. Which may mean you can't use Home Depot!!

I was very excited about getti...

I was very excited about getting new carpet installed in my home in early December 2011. Cooper Install called me several times to make sure i would be home from 1-3 for the install. Unfortunalty I was called at1:15 and told that we would not be able to get our carpet installed until hours later because someone else at a different location did not have heat when they arrived. I was contacted by the office as well and the gentleman on the phone was not helpfull and refussed to give me a time for install, He just kept saying today today today. Really? Who is the customer. I will not buy carpet at Home Depot ever again due to the fact that they use cooper installation.

Unprofessional and low quality

I ordered all materials for new flooring from HomeDepot. They sub contracted the work to Cooper Flooring.

They finished the project 2 weeks late and did not even completely finish. They were difficult to get a hold of and did not return phone calls.

We ended up finishing the project on our own. The work they actually completed was done carelessly and it looked horrible.

Overall, this was a bad experience with an unprofessional company.

Horrible Horrible Horrible

We were completely screwed by Cooper Flooring. We ordered carpet from Home Depot then had to change carpet to get it to arrive on time. It came in on Monday. One room 17 X14 needed to be installed. We had the old carpet out and the floors were clean and ready. We told them that we had furniture scheduled to be delivered on 12/11 and our huge family party on 12/12. They would not accomodate us. We offered to pay extra to cover the overtime cost. We offered to be there at any time they needed us. They are just scum. Our economy is in the middle of a recession and they beleive that they can tell their customers that they are just too busy? Please NEVER DO BUSINESS.
