Village Coney Island

This was the most overpriced coney island I have ever eaten at. The waitress I unfortunatley had the displeasure of meeting I believe her name was Rose-Mary, Rosie, or something along those lines. Aside from the food prices being the same as a fine dining establishment, the service was absolutley horrible. My food was cold, and the presentation of the food was that of a food cart you could find I'm sure at any corner in Detroit. If you want to eat a coney where the prices are reaonable and the waitress staff does not appear like they don't want to be there, go down a little further east on Michigan Avenue and try L.Georges.

I was in recently after shopping and quite honestly was very disappointed. My waitress was rude not only to me but to several people. There were only a few tables in the restaurant so it was not like she was busy. She just seemed busy complaining. The food was so-so at best and very overpriced for the quality. The place was decently clean and decorated very nice for the holidays, but that didn't seem to make it any different than any other coney island with gum chewing rude waitresses and lousy food, I wouldn't waste my effort to go again even though I shop quite frequently at the stores behind it.
