Primary Care
MPMG maintains a Nurse Advice Line to provide its patients with after hours access to medical information and referral services, supplementing the services of our network of Primary Care Physicians. This resource is staffed by medical professionals trained in customer service and may be accessed from 5:00PM to 8:00AM weekdays and at any time throughout the day on weekends and holidays.
Family Practice
She has been an MPMG Board member since 2018, is active on the MPMG MIPS Task Force, MPMG Executive Committee, SMN Connectivity Committee and serves as Quality Improvement Director for MPMG. Dr. Pavliscak earned her medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University and received her internship and residency training from the Swedish Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Seattle's Cherry Hill neighborhood. She enjoys spending time outside with her three children and husband, who practices medicine with her.

Internal Medicine
Bernard J. Steyer, M.D. graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1978. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary disease at the University of Arizona Medical Center and has been in independent group practice with his current group, Pulmonary Associates, since 1984. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care and continues to be in full-time practice. He served as a director on the MPMG Board for many years before becoming President and Chairman of the Board in 2010, and now serves as Vice=President. He is married and has two adult children.

Sports Medicine
Dr. Diefendorf specializes in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive orthopedic surgery. He is board certified by the ABOS in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He has served as the Team Orthopedic Surgeon for Serra High School in San Mateo since 1992. He has been an MPMG Board member since 2014, participates on the Compensation Committee and has served as Orthopedic Department Chairman at Peninsula Hospital. Dr. Diefendorf earned his medical degree from Northwestern University.

General Podiatry
He has been an MPMG Board member since 2018 and chairs the Mills Peninsula Network Credentialing Committee. Dr. Stone earned his podiatric medical degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University and received his residency training from the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center and completed an American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Fellowship.
