        Service at this post office is horrendous. Lines are long and are often being serviced by two or three representatives. This post office services a part of Brooklyn that is largely poor or working poor people of color. Whenever I happen to be at a post office in an area that is populated predominately by Caucasian people, service is good or excellent.

        The 800 number is not a direct number the phone number that they provide is always busy you never get to speak with anyone regardless of when you call. On the whole services have been pretty good I personally know my mail carriers who are great, however, I experienced a problem recently. A package I was waiting for was supposedly delivered on 6/25/14, and yet never received efforts have been made to inquire as to the whereabouts of this delivery to no avail. No one has attempted to contact me and yet a follow-up of the case indicates that the issue has been resolved I have three complaint numbers to no avail. Someone needs to respond in a timely manner. Thanks

        These employees are the worst ...

        These employees are the worst . . . I've lived in the neighborhood for close to 20 years. I've tried calling at opening time, closing time & every hour during the day... they have NEVER picked up the telephone ONCE!!! If that's not enough, just go in... you'll see the laziest workers -- then again, aren't all city/state employees the slowest, least concerned employees in NYC? Just like the DMV -- typical, yet never gets easier to swallow.
