Bacco Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar

A real disappointment - Saturday night, great sounding specials and a nice surrounding. Except for the lighting, which was too low to read the menu printed in 4 pt. text. To begin, the pear salad arrived, without the pears. With only four ingredients, seems like someone could have counted. Good pear, when it finally arrived. Taking the salad back to the kitchen for completion is evidently not part of the training. A special of papperdalle with sea food and butter poached lobster sounded great, but it tasted like it was straight off the ice at the Safeway seafood counter(2 days ago). I've have undercooked chuck that was more tender than the lobster. The barramuni special also disappointed - the fish had no texture at all. The risotto was good, tho. If Bacco is still around in a year, give it a try.
