Peach Garden

This place is great. The food is good and authentic. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is spotless. Never been disappointed here.

Recently my wife and I ordered from this restaurant and realized what a mistake we had made.



After waiting for an hour and a half I went to the restaurant to inquire as to why the food was taking so long. We had also tried calling about the food for over half an hour but it was constantly a busy signal. I was met by a girl who seemed used to this sort of thing saying they were swamped. I would assume this for normal dining hours but it was 7:00pm when we ordered and 8:30pm when I arrived. The man in the back asked what I wanted him to do since the food had already left. I stated that to be honest it was probably the first and last time we would be ordering from them. He replied that it was our choice but he could really care less.



I've had better service from fifteen year olds at McDonalds at 2 in the morning.



When the food arrived it was slightly cold, and completely bland even for cheap fast food chinese. My wife's hot and sour soup was in a styrafoam coffee cup. I was hoping the food which touted on the website as "Best Chinese in Bloomington" would redeem itself for the wait but I was completely wrong.



I've eaten at the finest of restaurants (i.e. victoria and alberts in disney) to some of the worst (i.e. cockroaches coming out of the food). Though the food was, okay to sub par and boring, the wait, and staff, were beyond repugnant.
