Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry - Avondale

The front office staff was very nice , the medical assistant was also very sweet, but I am very disappointed in how the doctor (Carmicheal) was rude, made unnecessary comments you should never say to a parent who concern about there small child. It's more about how much money they can take from you and the insurance instead of making you feel comfortable and what's the best and least procedures to be done. Without putting a small baby to sleep and doing all these unnecessary procedure that one tooth will fall off in couple of years. Carmichael is pushy and has no bedside manner. Don't take your child to sun valley pediatric dentist.

I have been to 3 other dentists in the area with my 4 and 7 year old children. We have no dental insurance. This office has been the least expensive compared to the others, and not just by a little bit! I have been going here for 2 years now and every experience has been a 5-star one for me and my kids.



My poor daughter has horrible teeth and we are there a lot. I feel like the staff remembers me a little too well! They always know who we are and ask how we are doing. On Dec. 23, at 7:30 pm, Dr. Carmichael met me with two of his staff members because my daughter had a horrible biking accident and knocked her two front teeth very loose. Not only was Dr. Carmichael forced to drive an hour just to see us, but he was happy about it, too! Right when we all thought we'd begun our Christmas vacation!



I will always go here and always recommend everyone I know to this office.

Beware of the staff!!!



My children's teeth cleaning felt kind of rushed. I was hoping they would have cleaned them a little better.



The office manager made me feel like I was bothering her. She is rude, she talked to me as if I was ignorant when I asked for my children's X-Rays to take to a different dentist. (They were extremely overpriced and I felt ripped off.)



The office manager, during our conversation said the following, (keep in mind the conversation was typical and professional until this point) .....The dental industry has come a long way since the 1990's, we are now in the 21st century .... I was livid and insulted!



First of all, she should never ever feel the need to talk down to me or anyone. It was uncalled for and unprofessional. I am taking my business where it is appreciated and where rude behavior is not tolerated.

Really love this office there very friendly. With a fast response team!
