I moved to Austin in summer of 2010, and was recommended Andy Thomas by three different friends. I still thank them for the tip when I see them. As soon as I called Andy we met at

his office and he asked all the relevant questions to start our home search, never pushing me to buy something overly priced or pushing me in a direction I wasn't interested in. That very day we looked at several great homes in different neighborhoods - south, downtown, east side and west Austin. Within the month, after much diligence and attention on Andy Thomas's part I was putting in an offer. I couldn't be happier with my home or with Andy's work. Being an out-of-towner, he walked me through everything, step-by-step. Always made time for me, answered my calls immediately, and after closing, he gave me a lovely bamboo cutting board as a house warming gift and came to my first party. I plan to use Andy to purchase an investment property in late 2011. I highly recommend this realtor, who clearly cares about his clients and their needs. Any negative review about him I would find suspicious. The people who first referred me to Andy are all prominent, extremely plugged in people who are long-time Austinites. So, my guess is that Andy's committment and success have made some other realtors jealous.? That's all I can jealous. Andy is a terrific, seasoned realtor and I recommend him with no qualms. In general, the Marye Comp is a great agency with cool listings and a great office atmosphere off of S. First St.
