We are finishing up our last of four years at this wonderful little school. We feel so lucky to have had the rare chance to be at a small lovely little school with teachers that have been working with pre-schoolers for decades and at a school located in the Green Belt to boot. I spent a year and a half on the school board and I can say that the staff is committed to the safety and education of all of the children! My kids and I will always remember our time at St. Marks fondly. I made some wonderful friends there too and so did my kids. What more can a pre-schooler ask for than a safe learning environment with lots of friendly faces and committed adults watching out for them? St. Marks is a special place.

St Mark's Day School is and intimate and sweet way for your child to enter the school environment. The children in different classes get to know each other on the gorgeous (and shaded) playground. Teachers are kind, loving, and clearly enjoy working with kids. My son started at age 2, three mornings a week, and now goes 5 mornings a week. Optional after-school classes are a great option as well--choices include ballet, art, cooking, science, and keyboarding.

This school is a gem in South Austin. The playground cant be beat, and the teachers are so warm and welcoming! We've attended for two years now, and I feel confident that it's been a very positive experience for my kids.

Excellent preschool with lots of activities and GREAT teachers! An Austin original! No better education around and with such flexible hours and activities, this is a well kept secret in the heart of Austin.
