At Aurora Orthodontics & TMJ, we are especially interested in sharing with our patients just how special our treatment is, and making you feel right at home! Our clinical technicians are highly trained and capable far beyond the industry standard. Learning new techniques and growing with new skills and technology is because, at the heart of every team member, we have the desire to be the very best and provide you with a feeling of confidence and competency that shows in all we do! Dr. Lauson's distinguished career as a specialist in orthodontics, dentofacial orthopedics and temporomandibular dysfunctions has spanned over 25 years. He graduated from the University of Iowa with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 1971. Dr. Lauson spent two years in the USAF Dental Corps where he studied periodontics and was the preventive dentistry officer of his base. He then completed his orthodontic residency in 1975 at St. Louis University Medical Center and has been in private practice in metro Denver ever since. During this time he helped develop the techniques for completing orthodontic treatment for full beautiful smiles without the removal of any permanent teeth. We also accept care credit as a form of payment.
