Joe's Crab Shack

Went in to Joes in Arlington, TX, (The four of us really enjoyed the one in Oceanside, CA and had a great time). http://www.joescrabshack.com/location/10012 for our daughters 28th Birthday, I told the hostess we were there to celebrate a birthday. She was very pleasant. We sat down at a table and were told we would be served shortly. Not a problem. We waited for our server to take our drink order......26 minutes later, No order taken, I went up to the hostess and asked her to send the server for drinks....Still no service after 35 min. The restaurant had maybe 8 tables of customers. I then asked a server that was passing bye for help, she snapped back with “Someone will be with you shortly!" Wow attitude from hell, set me funny. A couple of min. later a server showed up and asked what we wanted to drink, we told her, waited for drinks.....still none after another 15 min. Total time waiting about an hour. At this point we started getting very hungry and asked again for drinks and an appetizer, 15 minutes later No drinks no appetizer….No server. So after figuring we wouldn’t get service(Dummy me for waiting) Joe you lost out on at least $150.00 for dinner drinks and the server lost out on a tip, we decided to go to Razoo’s. As we headed out the four of us told several potential customers about the service and length it took to get any service, some customers followed us to Razoo’s. One customer Said they had experienced the same thing at this location before and was hoping it had changed. Maybe management should look into this as we were very disappointed at this location.

LOBSTER POT PIE:This location sucks.For $18 I got a small lobster claw,a gram of lobster meat, and the crust was rubbery.It sucked !I should have gone to Red Lobster.

We went to Joe's with high expectations, and left with no expectations. The lobster steam pot was horrible. The lobster was way over cooked and rubbery, and so was the shrimp. The clams were good, but some of them weren't opened at all! The service was horrible. I would definately not recommend this location!! Bad food, bad service, and management was horrible alsol!!! Stay away!!!! You would be better off spending your money at Pappadeaux's down the street!!!!!!

Its called a crab shack but really there isn't a lot of crab on the menu.

nachos,crab cakes,& boiled crap is really about it. Quite disappointing.

loud...expensive....good food..nice staff..just a little too much money for me.
