My husband and I have been patients of Dr Landry for many years in Arlington. My diabetic husband had a bar put into his foot to hold the bone together. I had a broken bone, then toenail fungus plus 2 bunion surgeries. He could not be nicer or more knowledgable. Not that we are on a Medicare Advantage plan, we see Dr Warren who is the only doctor in the practice who sees Medicare patients. He is also very professional. The staff has always been great.

Overall

I'm very disappointed in the result of my bunionectomy, which 7 months later is still partially numb and sometimes painful. The position of my big toe after the surgery is much worse than before, practically overlapping the next toe. Wish I had seen reviews on this doctor beforehand and hope this feedback will help others avoid my mistake.

Think three times before comin...

Think three times before coming.

No, don't go at all. Unless you want to feel like a piece of meat to be squeezed for the juice (your money).

My complaint has to do with one secretary and the treatment I received from her on my first (and last) visit. Are my expectations too high?

Little blonde receptionist never greeted me by name, barely looked at me and demanded my driver's license and insurance information. She became miffed that I had written this information down on a piece of paper as I did not have an insurance card. (none sent by my heath insurer). She intended to make me feel as if I were another hamburger (patient) that she could not care less about. Just one more stupid patient to process. No caring or concern about me. All about her own need to fill in those important blanks on the piece of paper.

The kicker for me is that she then said she had to take a picture of me, supposedly so that the doctors would know who they were speaking to. My question: If the doctors cannot remember me by meeting me and remembering who I am, should we trust them to remember what they learned in medical school?

Also, as a patient, you give your SS#, your drivers license, your address, phone, and written promise to pay. What more do they want??

Only in Texas can physicians get away with asking you for a photo. It never happened in any other State I have lived in. I think it is insulting.

I liked the very young doctor they sent to look at my toe. He was nice, explained things well.

After my visit, I waited in line to check out with a different secretary (dark hair). As I was standing in line with my checkbook in hand the little blonde secretary yelled out, "I need you to stand over here!" Her tone and manner caught me off guard, but I again felt angry and like another hamburger that they could not wait to get done with, so they could process more hamburgers. The blond secretary stated I owed two hundred and twenty dollars just for a quick (5 minute) look at my toe and to send toenail clippings to the lab to test for fungus.

Don't go unless you want to overpay and be insulted by a secretary. if you like those things then this is the place for you.

Dr. Laundry was the worse expe...

Dr. Laundry was the worse experience I ever had. He did surgery on my foot. After the surgery and when I "should have been healed", I still had a lot of pain. Dr. Laundry did not believe me! I had to see another podiatrist to order me an MRI to find out that fibroid tumors have grown in where he did the surgery. That's why I was still having pain in my foot! I would NEVER reccommend this doctor to anyone! In fact, I discourage anyone that has a foot problem NOT to see Dr. Laundry.

Ask for Dr. Laundry

Dr. Landry is awesome. He is very nice, listens intently and provides the best service. He even recommended the cheaper option for my feet because he said those orthopedics were better than the expensive custom made ones. He was right!

His staff is very nice. his office is also nice. He has pictures of his family all around. I highly recommend Dr. Landry!

(I had went to a different podiatrist before finding him. I had an awful experience with someone else, but glad I found Dr. Landry!)

Overall, you can trust this dr to take care of your needs!
