It maintains patrol, investigative, crime prevention and training divisions. The Ardmore Police Department supports the Student Anti-Violence Education (S.A.V.E.) program, which teaches children nonviolent skills to resolve conflicts and provides them with resources to deal with domestic violence. The department also undertakes cases related to juvenile crime, sex offense and drug abuse. Located in Ardmore, Okla., the Ardmore Police Department operates a detention and jail facility.
