Heads of Time

Horrible experience with "Senior Designer". Unfortunately, I was dumb enough to go back twice. Never again! The first time, I asked her to fix what I did not like and it was okay. The second time, she curled my hair to mask the horrible cut she gave me. I went and got it fixed, they had to cut 2 inches off, just to make the cut even. My new stylist said I had a "mini-mullet". It's sad that someone would cut your hair that badly and let you walk out of the salon with a butchered haircut. Don't waste your $35 to see a "Senior Designer" - because they're definitely not.

It's in the "Between the Locks" building off of Oneida Street and though I had been to the building several times to go to the Skyline Comedy Club, I didn't even know there was a salon in the building. Anyway...the salon offers a private room for my men to get their hair-cut, I sent my boyfriend, and he loves it. He got a free beer from the Brewery downstairs and was able to watch sports while waiting for his service.



Downstairs there is a salon just for kids- it's so cute! It has like a circus theme and they really make the kids feel special. I bought a little princess package for my nieces this Christmas...they all went and got their hair-cut and styled in mini-up dos, and got their nails done- they were so in heaven. The staff was really great with kids too.



Well, as for me I love my new style. When I went in it was the whole deal- I got a great cup of coffee while I was waiting. Then, when my stylist called me back he took the time to get to know me and what exactly I was looking for. We talked about different color/cut options and he mixed a special color for me that looks AMAZING. I love it.



While I was there, there was a bride and her party there getting their up-dos for a wedding, and they all looked great. I'm getting married later this year and I'm thinking of taking my bridal party there.



Overall, a fantastic experience...I'd highly recommend giving it a shot.
