        Had a excellent experience after my stroke and was recommended to go to Loma Linda University hospital. I opted out and found this doctor in my area on my own. She was wonderful and very professional. I had 4 blocked atreries and deadly. This doctor prescribed the correct medications and a diet and saved my life with out surgery. One year later my clogged artery that almost took my life is better because of Dr Purnima Thakran. And thank you Dr.

        Dr Thakran is a highly qualified Neurologist. Appointments are made very quickly. I believe she is only in Barstow one day a week, thus you might have a wait time. We have gotten in right away on some visits and had long waits on others. But I am convinced she is highly qualified, incredibly intelligent. What she is not is a people person. Know that going in and it will go smoother. She is very dedicated to your Neurological care.
