Excellent. I was very pleased with my surgery at the Surgery Center of Allentown. Valet parking was excellent, Check-in was quick and easy. Nurses were polite and helpful. Dr. Weiss & staff did a great job during surgery and check-out was very quickly handled. Surgery meds were ordered and ready at CVS Pharmacy as soon as I arrived there. Thank you so much!!!

Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is the most effective colon cancer screening technique because it can not only detect colon cancer but also remove precancerous growths, called polyps, during a single procedure. Other tests can detect abnormal cells or blood in the stool, but patients must schedule a follow-up colonoscopy if they receive positive results. Colonoscopy uses a flexible tube with a camera to inspect the colon for abnormalities and remove or sample them for microscopic evaluation. Many people think colonoscopy is painful, but patients receive sedation and the procedure usually lasts less than 30 minutes.

I had severe pain in my lower back which was affecting my sciatic nerves, so I made an appointment with pain management. They sent me for an MRI to determine the necessary treatment, and I am happy to say that after receiving 4 shots in my spine, I feel great! I highly recommend these doctors!!
