This store is ( based on where I grew up) a typical " Mom and Pop" small town grocery store struggling to somewhat compete with the big chain wally world. Like all small businesses who have to compete it is not easy to keep employee cause they want higher pay than they can afford thus employee turn around is high and customer service is low. However they do have good sales items and are very convenient and fast especially if you want to avoid wally world. They have a butcher and the meat cuts to me are pretty good. Produce I will admit is not very good at all and the store stinks most of the time ( maybe due to the fact they do cut the meat in house and raw meat stinks.) Also I'll admit to being a bargain hunter not a name brand snob So I like Super Dollar!!!

Super Dollar Discount Foods in Adamsville, AL (3980 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005) I have been shopping at this store every since they opened. When they first opened, we all bragged to everyone, what a nice, clean, friendly store it was, how mannerly & helpful everyone was there. What great buys we were all finding there. Well, That ISN'T the case any longer! The store is extremely nasty. Even their produce is filthy. Their produce is warm most of the time & much of what they keep out appears to be spoiled. They run sale paper ads, however they get so little of the merchadise in, that even if you go the same day as the ad breaks, they are already out. Seems like they just run the good ads to get you into the store. When they dont have the sale items, they refuse now to give rainchecks. Also you better watch carefully as they ring each item up, because I guarentee you several, if not many of the items (Do Not ring up as the sale price) then when you point it out to them,

This Matter Concerns: Super Dollar Discount Foods in Adamsville, AL 3980 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005 (Myself) ( NO STARS ) I shopped here myself, when I still lived in B'ham, Al. Then when I moved to North Alabama I began running by there every week with my Mom when Id go down to visit for the day. I have experienced the exact same experiences that upsets her so badly! Nastiness, Out of Stock & Rudeness! Now I never go there anymore, because I Dont Spend My Money Where it Isnt Appreciated or Earned!
