Original House Of Pancakes

Great food always accomodating for lunch. I ordered take out received chicken gyro and small greek salad $5.99 (can't get that anywhere else).
Asked for extra feta and sauce for gyro no problem.

I discovered food ants crawling on my foot. The owner/manager didn't even apologize or seem too surprised! Will never eat there again.

I've been to the Original House of Pancakes a couple times now, and both times it was a great experience. I ordered the Alex omlette the first time and it was really very good. The second time I went on my lunch break and ordered the old fashioned pancakes with strawberry topping. That was delicious too! If you want a real treat get their fresh squeezed orange juice! YUM!! The first time was a Sunday, the wait was about 10 minutes. Second time was on my lunch break from work, no wait. My server was wonderful, very attentive, and great service. The food came out quickly and tasted great. They are open for dinner now which I haven't tried yet, but If their dinner is as great as their breakfast, I'm in for a treat! ;)

I've already been several times...I went right when they first opened because it was close and there were a couple hiccups as they experienced opening growing pains. But what each of my visits had in common was that everyone was super nice and my food was delicious. I've had both breakfast and lunch, my favorite is the Spartan omlette. It's not high end dinning. But a great little local place where the food is always good and the staff is always great. :-)

Food was Hot My server was nice and pretty Awesome and did I mention everything was delicious even the kids enjoyed it. Check ' em out.

My waitress was spot on. She had a very welcoming smile. Great 1st impression. The food was great too. I had ordered the spartan omelette. It came with hash browns and my choice of toast or pancakes. Obviously I opted for pancakes. Their portions are huge. You get more than what you pay for. I really had an overall great experience. Will eat there again.

Welcome to the neighborhood, it's great to have a new breakfast place in the area! Since you have opened we have been their twice and everytime the food tastes great (pancakes where amazing). Keep up the good work because you will only improve from here. My family and I highly recommend this place and will be back shortly!

The worst service and food we have ever had. First, I should point out that my family has never walked out of a restaurant before, regardless of food or service. Also, I've never written a review before. But this was so bad that we just had to... We were under the impression that this was The Original Pancake House, but they just stole the name and reworded it a little. We walked in and it was old and worn looking, but we sat down with our party of 12 (made reservations two days before) at 1:15pm on a Sunday. The combination of equally bad service plus bad food was unbelievable. There was an hour wait until only half of our table got their food. The people who did get their food: - pancakes (called pancake house?) we're completely RAW inside - Greek skillet ended up as hashbrowns and eggs - omelette was sent back because it was raw and runny - potato pancakes ordered by a person that typically likes plain food thought they were tasteless and gross - people had to ask for coffee and tea at least 6 times each before it was brought out - people who asked for warm milk (waitress said its microwaved if you want it hot) never received it - they brought out an omelette order that nobody even ordered - white toast when everyone wanted wheat. Those of us that did not get their food or their coffee (me included) waited an additional amount of time before we decided to get up and leave. Being pregnant and having a one year old wait over an hour for food that is eventually disgusting is not worth the wait. The food was brought out as we were walking out the door. I told them no thanks. The manager wanted to remove a few items off the bill, but in the end did the right thing and comped us the entire meal. We still tipped the undeserving waitress, though. Worst restaurant experience ever.
