Holy Family Episcopal Church

Our experience with this church has been very positive. The congregation is quite friendly and welcoming. Our daughter has autism and some mental health / adoption issues; yet this church has not only welcomed us, but made modifications to help her. The Sunday School classes are awesome, and incorporate visual and sensory learning into the lessons. Each month, on the first Friday, there are special events for families - six worship classes, and six secular fun sessions - with a special invitation to ASD families. Our daughter has great fun at the secular events (and we are able to relax, have dinner, and talk to grown-ups), She told us, after one of the sensory-rich worship classes, that she finally understood what that particular story meant. Also, in the fall, the church hosts a fun fair for families - with lots of sensory activities for all kids, including ASD kids - great fun for the kids and relaxing for the parents, grandparents, and caregivers! Our five years as members of the church have been wonderful!
