I have been a patient of Dr. Richardson for many years. He is an expert in his field, He takes as much time as a patient needs and makes sure all of your questions are answered before you leave. His staff are a reflection of his caring, compassion and attentiveness. I feel blessed to have him as my eye doctor.

I really have great confidence in both of them!

Hi. My name is Mayme Ringis. I have been coming to Dr. Richardson's office, and Dr. Pritchard's, for many years, and I really have great confidence in both of them!

My husband and I are both having our cataracts removed on the 21st of July. Dr. Richardson gave us a great CD to listen to at home, and it's beautiful. I told him, he should go into that business because he had such a wonderful voice, and it was so relaxing and very informative. I think everybody should come to him!

Personable & Approachable. I recommend him.

I met Dr. Richardson 5 weeks ago for a second opinion regarding my floaters. So he came in to the exam room and introduced himself, a very pleasant man. He explained what he was going to do before looking in my eyes. Indeed he found the floaters, and we discussed that. He was very pleasant, very reassuring. He recommended that I have another test done on my eyes. I was a little anxious about that, but he put me at ease by saying, “not to worry, I will call you immediately with the results. I often don't. I often let the office call in a few days, but because I detect that you're anxious, I'll mark it on your chart to give you a call right away, to ease any apprehension you might be having."

I was very appreciative of that. I thought that was very nice of him to do that. That just made a very big impression on me that he was willing to do that. Again, he was very personable, approachable and I enjoyed our interaction, and I definitely would recommend anybody coming to him if they have any eye issues. I believe he's very well educated from what I've seen on his website, and would feel very comfortable recommending him for any eye issues or checkups that you might have.

Hi. My name is Linda Squibb, a patient of Dr. Richardson's. I first met him about five weeks ago. Saved My Life!

I'm a patient of Drs. Richardson, and Kratz, and Pritchard. I've seen all three doctors. Dr. Kratz I saw originally, and he saw something that was in my eye that shouldn't have been. He took the time and the care to contact my family doctor, and he ran some tests and come to find out I had a blockage in the artery to my heart. So in my opinion, Dr. Kratz saved my life!

I also have glaucoma and macular degeneration. They sent me to specialists at Doheny Eye Clinic, which has taken care of it a...

We recommend Dr. Richardson and the San Gabriel Eye Associates to anyone that's looking for a doctor

My wife and I have been patients at the San Gabriel Va since the early '50s with Dr. Schiff, and we're very pleased that Dr. Schiff had the foresight to get Dr. Richardson on board. Dr. Richardson has operated on both of us for cataracts. We've had excellent results, the difference between night and day, from seeing things in a blurry fashion to things that are very clear. That's why we like this man.

We found that if there is a special problem, Dr. Richardson will readily refer us to a spe...

I've been a patient with Dr. Richardson for 20 some years. I've always found the staff and Dr. Richardson to be very friendly, very professional, and very accommodating if you have to change your schedule or something. Dr. Richardson gave me two surgeries for cataracts and it opened up a whole new world for me. The surgery was very successful and everyone was friendly and helpful. I just really appreciate the care I have been receiving here.

Hi, my name is Jim Stasny. I have been coming to this office 25 years. It's been that long, so I don't recall how I was introduced to this office. But I was seeing Dr. Frank Schiff for a long time and once he retired I've been seeing both Dr. Kratz and Dr. Richardson. I've had very good experiences here with both of them.

They've been very concerned about my overall well being. They really take the extra care in remembering things about me and are very concerned about my overall well being. S...

I'm a very satisfied customer!

Hello, my name is Robert. I'm a very satisfied customer! Dr. Richardson did a wonderful job on my eye. Let me tell you a little story. I've had glasses probably for the last ten years and my optometrist discovered I had high pressure in my right eye. He suggested that I seek treatment for this. Of course, being a guy I ignored it for a couple of years. It spiked a little higher, and finally I went to my mother's doctor, which happens to be Dr. Richardson. And my mother also, of course, is happy ...

Dr. Richardson is the best!

My name is Bob Krause. I've been seeing Dr. Richardson for several months. In the beginning my left eye was 20/70 and my right eye was 20/60 and I couldn't really see much of anything. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and today is really a cool day. This is the first day after my right eye. My vision is 20/20. My vision in my left eye is 20/25. That's perfect!

My advice to anyone who's interested is if you've got something wrong with your eyes, this is the guy to see. Dr. Richardson is ...

My Eye Doctor Saved My Life, I Will NEVER Forget It!

My name is Richard Orozco. I've been coming to this office for over 40 years. We used to live in Monterey Park where I raised my family and all of us would come here. The staff has been outstanding. As for doctors, couldn't ask for anything better. We think so much of this office that in 1977, we moved f...

I appreciate that they have prepared me for what may happen in the future.

I was referred by my optometrist to the San Gabriel Valley Eye Associates. The staff is outstanding. The doctor assistants in particular have always been very impressive: professional, personable, and thorough. I like that everyone seems to be hustling and busy, especially since waiting is irritable at any doctors office. The billing office is very helpful also. The facilities are very nice and the location is convenient for me.

I am a glaucoma suspect, and I believe the doctors have been ve...

Hi, I'm Marjorie Johnson. I just celebrated my 93rd birthday, and I've been a patient of Dr. Richardson for 10 years, and I have had excellent care. I have had glaucoma, and I am a diabetic, which a person has to be very careful of their eyesight. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Hello, my name is Ron, and I've been coming to San Gabriel Valley Eye Associates since I was diagnosed with shingles in my right eye. I've been coming here since early November of 2009. The care that I've gotten here at San Gabriel Valley Eye Associates is far superior to any ophthalmology care that I've had in the Los Angeles area.

I have leukemia, and part of the chemotherapy drugs, zapped my optic nerves. So I suffer from low vision. I've gotten more information at this clinic about my low...

Dr. Richardson will be my exclusive eye doctor for the future.

Hi, my name is Robert. I'm actually a water delivery man. I'm out in the sun all day. And unfortunately, one day, while working, I suddenly lost vision in my left eye. Never experiencing this happening to me before, I immediately went to Huntington Memorial Hospital, to the emergency room. They had quickly diagnosed me with cataracts in my left eye. I was promptly dispatched to a number of other doctors, who ultimately referred me to Dr. Richardson to have the cataract surgery performed. In the b...

Like Family! Very Thorough Doctor!

When entering the office it's like you're one of the family! The receptionist greets you with a "Good morning. How are you?" They take you in, check your vision, and dilate your eyes so they can assess the back of your eye better. They even have a TV you can watch while you're dilating because your eyes get a little blurry when you’re dilating.

They never keep you real long. Doctor Richardson usually has a lot of patients but he usually sees me on time.

He answers my questions. He is never in a hurry. I have been to doctors where they have one leg out the door. He is not like that at all. He explains thoroughly and he makes sure that you understand. He is always smiling and he answers your questions so you can understand them. He doesn't use these big words that you don't understand.

He is very thorough. He makes you feel very welcome and he always gives you samples to try out if available in case it doesn't work, you don't spend $$ to find out it doesn't work. I highly recommend him!

A Pleasant Doctor

My optometrist had suggested I may have glaucoma. I was recommended to see Dr. Richardson. At first I was a little apprehensive. I thought, "Glaucoma? Am I going to go blind!?" Dr. Richardson has been a very pleasant ophthalmologist. We went through a number of tests. Everyone at the office was very pleasant, and everything went well. I've been coming here for, one year now, and the follow up is excellent! I will keep coming back. My wife also intends to come here. I think this is a great place to come, and I would recommend anyone come to the San Gabriel Valley Eye Associates.
