        The quesadillas are surprising! I just love the party feel in here and the dining experience is really authentic Mexican. I would willingly go back.

        They are the very good at customer service and the food is just like what we grew up with, excellent!!!! Although they are in San Diego, we make the trip, from Menifee CA, when we need their food, or want to celebrate for any silly reason. The atmosphere is cool too! Love the wait staff and the positive attitudes we always encounter there.

        Ponce's Mexican Restaurant

        Good food, but go early, especially on weekends, as there can be a long wait. Parking also demands that you arrive early. Their lot is not that big. Food and service are great once you get seated. It can be noisy and crowded, that's because it's a Great Place to Eat Mexican Food!!!

        Why did I wait this long to try Ponce's?!

        Ummmmm.......DEFINITELY one of the best mexican spots I've been to; and I've lived in san diego all my life, visiting all the mexican spots. they are so good. their enchiladas and burritos are absolutely perfect. LOVE THEM! Their only competition is Fred's and T.J.!

        A local favorite of mine

        My family and I have been going here for years. They updated and expanded the restaurant not too long ago. The people are friendly, the food is good, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the price is right. The owner/manager is very "hands on" (from managing to helping with orders and busing tables) and is there almost every day to make sure the restaurant's quality and performance are kept up. Job well done. Great place to sit down and eat with family and/or friends, day or night.
