St Francis Animal & Bird Hospital

Perfect is how I would describe our visit. I have an indoor housecat that turned 10 years old, so I wanted to bring her in for a wellness check-up. I know kidney failure is common in cats and wanted to have a blood panel done. I chose this hospital because it has high grades on Angie's List and excellent reviews on Yelp. I couldn't agree more. Dr Novak was wonderful and gave me advice on some dietary changes. The staff wanted to take my cat to their backroom lab for the urinalysis test and blood draw. I asked if I could go with since my cat was terrified. I was told that it was not permitted, but that they would do the testing in the exam room we were in so I could remain with her. I called multiple clinics to get estimates on check-up and blood panels costs. This hospital was on the cheaper end. They also did not try to upsell me on vaccinations or unnecessary treatments for an indoor cat, which I appreciated. Luckily my cat is healthy. This is where we will go if anything changes.
