Rt 69 Auto Sales & Service

May of 2017 my boyfriend and I purchased a Dodge Ram 2500 from Route 69. Overall the buying experience was pretty painless, the my salesman and the owner were very polite, answering all questions and giving me a good deal on my vehicle. We also purchased a 3rd party warranty. They replaced the back half of the exhaust and the back bumper and 2 tires as well as the tie rods and ends and ball joints.
Things changed the moment we were handed the keys. The very next day the truck started vibrating when we hit the brakes and the break light came on. Mike had us bring the truck in for a no cost repair. They had our vehicle for over a week. Didn't offer a rental or even a ride home. We pick up the truck a week later and the brake light is still on. Only now we were experiencing what is called the "Dodge Death Wobble". We used our warranty for that. $1800 to fix.
Not to mention the brakes needed replacing AGAIN as well as the tie rods and ball joints! (An additional $1600) Not even 2 months after purchasing the vehicle.
6 months later, the exhaust that they(route 69) replaced fell off the vehicle completely.
And now I am dealing with motor problems.
No wonder they knocked $3000 off their asking price. They knew this thing had almost over 10k worth of work that would be needed almost immediately.
And that doesn't include the cost of regular maintenance. Which has been done on this vehicle. I take care of my investments and a vehicle that costs a third of what I make a year is definitely an investment.
If you REALLY need to buy from them, bring your own mechanic. Take it for an inspection before you sign those papers.
This seems to be a common theme among a LOT of reviews. Not every dissatisfied customer could possibly be the brainless bone-heads that this company would lead you to believe. But of course as the business owner thinks, thry can do no wrong, and the many negative reviews are from people who don't know how to maintain a vehicle.

They won't deliver the car in the condition promised. They had my car 7 weeks of the 1st 10 i owned it and still failed to fix the problem. They won't come to the phone or return your calls either.

Repairs are so bad and costly that I can't bring my car back for a free evaluation. It would be throwing away money for additional repairs. If you want to be insulted this is your place to go
I guess the owner has no respect for elderly women. It's a shame I need a new used car. I WON'T GO THERE

I bought my son his first car from these guys and i payed $3500 4 months ago. I have put in about that much in repairs and my son couldn't drive it for half of the time because he had surgery. When it died 2 weeks ago they refused to let me have it towed there so I brought it to a local mechanic, it cost over $1500 to fix this time and it is still not totally right. Rt 69 sells cars and doesn't back what they say. Being a single mom this has really put some strain on my finances. Never go to this dealer!!!!

Moral of the story if want to be miserable and jerked around by an extremely arrogant owner and a mechanic who probably doesn't know what a car is, then head on down to Route 69 Auto and prepare to not be greeted as you walk in the door!

What an easy automobile purchase these guys made it for me this time around! I just picked up my 2009 Audi A4 and couldn't be happier about how well everything went. I didn't feel pressured into buying more of a vehicle than I could afford and left feeling like I got a great deal! I will most definitely be sending anyone I know looking for a used car to these guys. They are great!

I just brought my Honda Accord home and have to say this has been by far the easiest and most pleasurable car shopping experience so far. I always buy used cars every 3-4 years and have never found a more down to earth group of sales guys as they have at Rt 69. Thanks Bobby and Mike I will see you next time around!

They gave me a good deal and made it easy to buy too. I told them what i wanted to spend and what kind of car I was looking for and they showed them to me. I decided to buy an Acura because I know it's a good car and the price was good and not too many miles! I will come back and will send all of my friends and family here to buy cars too!

Great place and great guys to work with. I just bought a 2009 pick up for my job and the experience with them was great from day 1. None of that back and forth crap other lots try to pull.

Rt 69 Autos did a good job getting me into a newer car. I was looking for a lower mileage import that would be good on gas. I met with Bobby and Mike and after a few test drives I bought a 2012 Nissan Maxima. It was clean with low miles and ran well. They made the whole purchase easy and headache free. I will definitely go back.

I had been looking for a specific Jaguar for a few weeks and after researching multiple cars I came across one at Route 69 Auto Sales. I called and spoke with Mike and he gave me the details about the car and the extensive care it had been maintained with. I made it down about a week later to examine the car and it was exactly as Mike had described, nothing left out, no hidden surprises, it was by far the best vehicle I had examined so far. I made my decision about a week later and called Mike, he had Bobby call me back to take my information down for all the necessary paperwork which was ready when I arrived that afternoon. A few signatures later I was handed the keys to a great condition Jaguar and I still can't get the smile off my face. Mike, Bobby and the rest of the crew at Route 69 Auto Sales made buying a car I had always wanted to own a awesome experience, the dealership feels more like a friends living room than a business. I will definitely go to them for future vehicles

So this was a big process & the most exciting experience of my life so far, i bought my first car from Rt 69 Auto Sales, i went in having an idea and a budget of what i wanted and right away i noticed the Nissan Murano, it was exactly what i wanted; a big AWD SUV, that i can go anywhere and almost everywhere, & immediately John appeared out of the blue. He seemed honest & someone you can trust(because he is) which in the end he was, he did everything he could for me to get the lowest APR possible for me in a known bank, this dealership also registered, emissioned, got me my plates & he helped me with my insurance. It was all such a smooth experience, i would recommend this play to anyone & everyone, i will probably even get my second car from here as well. THANK YOU Rt 69AUTO SALES!

They had a few used 3 series I liked and went to see them. John and Mike gave me a great deal on the one I wanted so I couldn't refuse. If you are looking for a good deal on a used car you should come here too.

I was looking for a Honda Accord. I went to the dealership and test drove one. They were very accommodating and John my salesmen drove to Waterbury so my collision person could look over the vehicle. It was in perfect condition. I am now it's proud owner. Great price awesome staff.
