The Tint Store

I had my windows tinted here a few years ago and had a good experience. So I went in recently to purchase a gift card, and **I will not allow the recipient of the card to return to this particular Tint World (Pompano) location.** I had to track down someone to help me from the garage and the guy I finally found made no attempt to set aside his lunch but rather continued stuffing his face to the point that I couldn't understand him nor could the person he talked to one the phone.

A gift card purchase shouldn't take more than 3 minutes to process. He dragged it out to 20 minutes. He wanted all kinds of info from/about me (my name, address, phone, email, make/model of my car). He didn't know how to process the gift card or where to find one. I offered to come back (and, by that, I mean go elsewhere) but he said he could handle it. He also used at least 3 obscene words while I was there (including the phrase "oh, f#ck it"). His manager finally showed up and I thought things would get better but she was equally useless and rude. The best part: I asked for a $100 gift card and these two couldn't figure out how to run it without a parts & labor charge and tax getting tacked on, so the gift card is valued at $110.16(!!!). I called and emailed corporate a number of times and never heard back so I can't even get a refund. This is a totally unprofessional operation.

Lesson learned: don't waste your patience, politeness, and money on people/businesses like these ones.

I am a head of a Custom Car club in Broward County. All of our cars recieve their tint and pre-show detailing from Tint World. We have done business with them for a few years now and I have never had any problems.
