Nick's Auto Repair

Would not reccomend this shop to anyone. Took my car here for an oil change because it was the shop the car dealership I bought my from used. First off they do not accept appointments. Dropped my car off at 9 A.M. for just an oil change, called back at 3 P.M. and they hadn't even pulled it in yet. Took my car back before they could even service it and will not be going there again.

This shop takes advantage of women. In 2007 I blew a brake line. Nicks told me that all of my brake lines were looking bad and should all be replaced so I had them replace almost all. This year I blew another brake line. Nicks called and told me that all of the brake lines needed to be replaced (again). I said that almost all of the lines had been replaced by their garage three years ago. Mechanic immediately started back pedaling and said hed have to look at my lines again. On the next call I requested that only the brake line that was bad be replaced. After I got the vehicle back my father came for a visit and looked over all of the brake lines and invoices from the two times it was at Nicks. He said that between the two invoices, the parts list should have been enough to replace all lines. In reality tho, I still have 2 remaining brake lines that are original which have never been replaced. Dad said I was over charged in parts, and I was targeted as an easy way to make money.

Nicks Auto provides poor service. They do not accept appointments and I was told to just drop my car off at the beginning of the day. I was ensured I would receive a call and the car by the end of the day. By four in the evening I still had not received a call and so I called them only to be told they were just pulling it in now, as if they had forgotten completely about servicing my car. I asked if it would be done today and they said they didnt know. I was guaranteed the lowest price in town for brakes and rotors, but Nicks Auto marked up the cost of the parts and the overall bill was way overpriced. I went to pick up my car the next day only to have a teenage girl wait on me. She was flirting with some young teenage boys at the time and gave me huge attitude when I interrupted to ask if I could pick up my car. I do not recommend Nicks Auto for either service or price.
