My grandfather was instructed to go here by his primary care Dr to be admitted for pneumonia and upon arriving in the ER he let them know his dr had sent him and yet he still had to wait 8 HOURS to get into a bed in the ER. Their excuse was that they didn't have room available that had a monitor so him being 75 and sick with pneumonia he still had to sit out in the waiting room. After the 8 hours he had to wait an additional 4 hours to be admitted and placed in an actual room. During his stay he has been given too much insulin twice now resulting in his blood sugar spiking to 485 (it has NEVER been over 250 before) and had to wait 5 hours for someone to come changed his sheets he soiled. I requested a refill of water for him and the tech filled his cup straight out of the sink instead of giving him a bottled water. I'm trying to get his file and take him to Parrish medical or winter park myself before he dies at the hands of these incompetent and useless Dr's and staff here at this filthy hospital. The ac units in the rooms have rust all over them yet they are spending who knows how much on the fancy entry way with marble and such. Ridiculous! !

This is the worst hospital in florida stay as far away from it as possible, unfortanly i got stuck there, countless nurse mess ups , causeing skin grafts, muslce wraps and infections, 5 years later still haveing countless infection porblems and they woulnt do a dam thing to me " cause your not insured now " .. this place is a bunch of scum bags that should be shut down by the state board of health. dirty nasty hospital that should be shut down. beware !!!

In my expereicne i have worked FT / contract with several companies, I can very well say that Orlando health gave me the most worst expereince I have ever ghad. They do not care about your work satisfaction or if you enjoy your work.
AND if if you ever try to quit the company because they could not give you want you want, they give as much hard time as it is humanly possible!! I resigned with a 2 week notice as usual and expected things to be smooth.
They did not pay me what they owed and I had to follow up like 1000 times formy vacation pay AND they ended up not paying my on call pay after I quit. While I was waiting on the on call issue to be resolved, they sent my records to COLLECTIONS for collecting monies I owed them for uition. Yes, u heard me right, they went to collecitons within 3 weeks AS I was trying to sort out the monies that was owed by them which they were NEVER suppose to without sorting out the monies they owed me.
do no work for this company unless u could not pay your bills otherwise. you cannt find any reviews / problems with quitting in ORMC, because everybody who works there get stagnant and never want to move on. they work there and die there. If you're young and dynamic and smart, and if you want to do something u like, this iS NOT the company to work with!!
