My son was apart of the LDC program. For the first time my son and I understood things that was never explained to us. For instance, if a child did not like bright light. They would put them in a room with dimmer light. My son always complained of headaches. The teachers really work one on one with him at LDC. In fact Mrs. Masters, herself came to a meeting with me. The teachers learned a few things about executive dysfunctional disorder. Example when you ask your child to clean their room. And hours later it hasn't been done. Or the teacher expects the child to finish work and it doesn't happen. It's not that the child is ignoring you. LDC really helped my son. And I'm sure you will understand things more clearly about your child. And you can become an advocate for your child.
