National Bakery and Deli

I love their donuts and especially the lemon slices. Yum, yum!!!!

I've been buying bakery, ham, cheese, and salads for all occasions at this National Bakery location for 20 years: Consistently excellent bakery! Nicely remodeled a few years ago: Has a few tables and chairs for the 'lunch crowd' perhaps. As luck would have it, two of my doctors are located nearby, so I stop in when I visit them.

I have been going here for the last 8 years. Everytime I see my Dr. across the street and at St. Lukes I stop there. The bakery is just like I remember the one on the block were I lived as a kid. Even better. At Christmas I give there frozen apple turnovers as gifts and my friends LOVE to get them and, I always have them in my freezer along with the icing. Can't tell you enough how much I love this bakery. My wish is for them to have a bakery in Menomonee Falls. We have nothing like this bakery anywhere north of wisconsin Ave. and as far as county line rd. lake to Saukville.Go there and try you won't be disappointed in anything and also try the deli that is excellent also. I needed a cake last minute and National Bakery made it happen. They were so kind and made sure it was just what I wanted. The cake was the best ever and it was decorated beautifully. I will definately be back. The customer service here is outstanding!! Keep up the excellent service!!

This bakery has been around for generations. We wouldn't consider a special occasion without a cake from National. I highly recommend the layered banana cake/torte filled with custard or the chocolate cake with custard filling and raspberry (or strawberry) --well, you get the idea. The hard rolls are incredible! (Especially when you get 6 free with a pound of fantastic Badger Ham.)

They are the best local independent bakery that I have dealt with in my 40+ years. My dad used to bring us to National Bakery every Sunday before visiting Busha to get bakery, ham & rolls. What memories! And they're still in business, which proves they are reliable and provide wonderful products. Thank you for reamaining in business!
