Bartlett Music Academy

We enrolled our daughter in piano lessons with Mrs. Paula Darnell several months ago. I am very satisfied with our results. We were with another teacher, but the distractions were to much to bear. The other instructor was less expensive (she taught out of her home), but it was a waste of money. Mrs. Paula is nurturing, rewards my daughters progress with awards and gives me feedback. I only gave 4 stars because the price was a little higher, but you get what you pay for.

My daughter has been in the band since 6th grade. She is now a senior in high school. My only regret is that we did not put her in lessons sooner. She learned more in one lesson than she has learned after 5 years of band. My daughter has always struggled with scales and sight reading. Mr. Smith gave her some tricks that left her amazed at how easy it was to play her scales. She now practices more than she ever did and I am keeping my fingers crossed that she gets accepted to college on a full scholarship.

My grandson has taken piano lessons at Bartlett Music Academy for about a year now and I am very impressed. He entered the talent show at his school and won against 15 other students. He is so excited about music that we enrolled him in guitar also. Bartlett Music Academy gets a thumbs up from me.

We have been taking from BMA since 2002. 6 years later we are on our fourth child and still loving all they do for our family. Our youngest takes clarinet and is in the 6th grade. All of our children have taken from Kreston Smith who does a great job of connecting. All our kids have made All-West TN band every year, expect the youngest since this is her first year. We are very pleased with the professionalism and program.
