SO, SO SORRY I WENT THERE for my mothers' PRE-ARRANGED cremation!! I chose them for their location, and because they had been there for years. From beginning to end- incompetence. Cremation was promised in 1-2 days by the owner, but was not completed until 9 days after promise date!! Her pre-arrangement wishes were not honored- when she was FINALLY cremated, they put her in a box, instead of the urn I SPECIFICALLY selected two years earlier!! It was not in stock and had to be ordered, so I finally took my mother home 13 days AFTER her death!! I was shorted on the pre-ordered number of death certificates, which they had to re-order. All I ever heard was EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE...staff on vacation, new, "overwhelmed" employees, the dog ate my homework, etc, etc. I spoke AT LENGTH with owner Al Tacker, who was sympathetic, but seemed incapable of implementing any changes to improve customer service. He almost seemed intimidated by his staff, and afraid to ruffle their feathers. This business is sloppy and inconsistent. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!

When my husband died suddenly at the age of 47, we had made no plans for funeral arrangements. I chose Bartlett Funeral Home simply because of their location. They treated me with such respect and did not try to sell me. They didn't even ask me if we had life insurance. They just helped me have the most beautiful, meaningful funeral at the best price. I can't imagine being pressured into spending a fortune (as I've heard from friends who have experienced other funeral homes) at this very difficult time.
