Walmart - Vision Center

I chose Walmart Vision because of convenience, but I will return again and again because the employee who helped me was such a delight. Mayra was not only extremely personable, she checked Medicare and found that I could file my new glasses with Medicare-- and saved some money. I was quite comfortable in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere until management decided to call an employee to task for a really minor infraction while I was sitting there. The manager did not get up and come over to tell the employee quietly that she'd made an error. She berated her in front of everyone. I was impressed with how that employee shook it off and continued to smile, because I was still annoyed hours later. But my experience with Mayra outweighed everything else so I'm still giving 5 stars. Also, the other two employees were friendly as well, and smiled often. It was just the manager that made me feel ill at ease. I think her name was Gail.
