Overall

First of all, please don't say they serve authentic Chinese food. Just ask any Chinese growing up eating authentic Chinese food, you will not hear them say that. Sometimes I wonder who is cooking in the kitchen. When they first opened, I accompaied friends there 3 times. The one dish I order everytime came out 3 different ways. And the server didn't even know enough about the dish. She insisted it's a spicy dish but it's not and there's not a spicy sign on the menu for that dish. I could never eat there again after those 3 visits. Some of the desserts were pretty good though if you don't think about the calories. Overall, if you don't know authentic or don't expect authentic Chinese food, you might like their food and enjoy the atmosphere.

The service was less than expected, the waiter didn't even ask what rice, one would prefer with the entrees being ordered, leading to confusion when (another person) the server, brought some rice, but not enough rice for those who should have had it. The unsweetened tea - doesn't exist on the menu, you must order it as a flavored item, like a fruity tasting tea, or sweetened. The meal came and was always followed up by a prompt to 'move on' to the next step, from appetizer, to entree. to dessert, and here's the check. We were a 'party' and treated as if we needed to leave in time to get back to work, but it was 18:30 in the evening. The food, was okay, not bad but the hot and sour soup was a bit gravy-tasting-like, unlike some I've had at other Asian diners. ( It wasn't as heavy as what I have otherwise had, and I didn't really like it as much as a lighter soup, which I normally have. ) For a pricey restaurant, I found it leaving a bit to be desired.

I've been there many times and I love it. Although its always busy and I've had to wait even after making reservations, I love it and will go over and over again.
