Dr. Peter P Suh, DMD

For those who only have a few moments to read a review, the best word I can use to describe Dr. Suh is DISHONEST. Two more are IRRESPONSIBLE and DANGEROUS. There are many others.

We saw Dr. Suh for a little over 2 years. In that time, we specifically requested that he put sealant on my daughter's teeth. Due to a medical issue, she's at an increased risk for cavities, and due to a heart condition, cavities can also pose a *serious health risk* to her. We explained this, and he seemed to understand. We were charged for the sealant (multiple times), and we believed that it had been applied. However, after an appointment two weeks ago, and after we had been seeing him regularly for more than two years, he told us that our daughter suddenly has six (SIX!) cavities. All since the last exam! And this popped out of nowhere, he claims. That didn't sit well with me.

I asked how that could have happened with sealant on her teeth. His staff (specifically, his wife, who is the office manager and is responsible for the records) finally admitted to us last week that he had never put sealant on my daughter's teeth. Ever. Even though we were charged for it. He literally lied to us, and - worse - put our daughter's health at risk, knowing the stakes and knowing her medical history.

After I started looking for recommendations to other local dentists, I learned from several other of Dr. Suh's former patients that this is a pattern for him, and a veritable business practice to line his pockets! Others were told their children had multiple cavities that had suddenly popped up - and they were quoted between hundreds and thousands for restorative work. Then, when they went elsewhere to get a second opinion, every single one reported that their child had zero cavities. I also asked our new dentist to check the x-rays to confirm the diagnosis. Our new dentist took new x-rays and showed them to me. No cavities.

Don't go to this guy. I don't know what's going on there, but it's not good.

Wonderful staff and service. He always makes my boys feel at easy with everything. They have had extractions and fillings and never had an unpleasant experience. Very professional and you never have to wait long.
