Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

On December 5, 2017 we were double charged for our meal because of a computer glitch on their part. We have visited the store twice and contacted the corporate office about this to no avail. One of the managers had my wife bring our receipts and bank statements (because they charged two separate banks) to the store and after briefly looking at the paperwork, directed us to call the corporate office, which she could have told us via the phone. We are being sent in a vicious circle in an attempt to get our money back. If it is not resolved in the next week, we will file a complaint and never eat there again. Good grief!

this is the third time I've tried this Crackle Barrel. the Waite staff are kind and courteous. that ends the pleasant experience. All 3 times the food....from grits to gravy to hashbrown casserole were cold. a pat of butter on the grits just sat there, unable to melt. The biscuits were rock-hard on the bottom. Having lived in TN for several years, and eaten many times at the corporate training restaurant in Lebanon, TN, there is NO way corporate would be pleased with the food served in this store.

Service is always courteous food is great and the price is right. Annually my wife shops for a Christmas ornaments

I have always gotten the chicken fried chicken. So my husband bought it to go I bite into it and there is blood! I'm disgusted with this place. If you can't proper cook for you shouldn't be in business!

The food is great, the staff are great, the prices and gifts are all wonderful. However, when you go to check out and pay, the desk for the cashier is at the same location as the hostess for people waiting to be seated, the same cashier for people purchasing gifts, and only two work at any one time. It is a nightmare. I can't stand all the people, crowds, and everything right there at the same small corner of the front room. It is noisey and claustrophic. I give my money to someone else and they pay for me while I RUN outside to breathe and to escape the crowds. You could change that process and it would be wonderful.
