E-Care Emergency Centers

Worst place to go for any medical needs. For a simple stomach ache they charged me more than 2500 after insurance adjustments. One hour visit is going to cost you a fortune. I have used care-now multiple times and they are much better n reasonable. Please save yourself and go to care-now or an actual emergency room@big hospital. In my experience that will cost you less and i have heard similar reviews from many friends n family. This place is a big fraud..Stay away !!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!.

Please stay away from this place. Go to the local hospital ER. I took my son because he was throwing up and my portion of the bill has exceeded $1000. They charged me $60 for a tablet they gave him to help him stop throwing up. They kept him in a room for a hour even though his pediatrician or an urgent care clinic would not have. They kept looking at the clock to make sure we were there for an hour and charged $750 for room. Then the doctor charged us another $375 for his services. They are running a scam in the name of health care. When you go there after hours, you have to be admitted into the ER. Also, even during normal hours, they will decide if your case has to be handled as a ER or not. I have read reviews of this place in other locations too and the patients there have the same story to tell.

Like everyone else who has written about this place, it is a big scam. My wife went in with a ear infection and the Doctor was not even going to look at her ear until she asked him too. She was in there less than 5 minutes. They charge you $100.00 up front if you have insurance, then bill the insurance company for $614.00. The insurance company only pays so much and then you are stuck with the rest. Because they have the word emergency in their name, it allows them to charge for emergency care. You need to be aware of this scam and not go here unless it absolutely necessary. We do not have a family physician so went here. One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Check the reviews on this same company on Hardin Blvd in McKinney. Same scam.

They need to post their charges at the door. I came becuase we had a high fever. I could have suffered with the fever. I nearly had a heart attack 4 month later when I got the bill. I was new in town and did not know any dr's yet.

$614.00 just to walk in the door. $260 for a step throat culture. This was the charge after insurance.

Please people. Be very aware of what and who this place is. Thought it was an oridnary clinic to visit in lieu of an emergency room. Couldn't have been any more wrong. Way wrong. If you go to the back and lay on a bed, BE AWARE, it's an automatic $1,700 charge. Then the testing, medicine, and physician charges start to pile up. A 3 hour visit for simply being sick...$3,000. Insurance only covered half. So, bottom line, I'll be paying a bill for over 2 years for just stopping by for a little help. DO NOT GO TO THIS "E-CARE" CENTER FOR HELP. You WILL regret it.
