General Surgery
Albert Fox, MD, FACS was born in Queens, New York. He is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where he developed an interest in surgery of the face, head and neck. Dr. Fox completed two years of General Surgery and completed his residency in the highly competitive specialty of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.
Ear Surgery
Otoplasty ear surgery can be performed through small incisions made behind the ear. This allows the incisions to be easily hidden in a natural crease. The cartilage can then be contoured and sculpted, providing a more natural appearance and position. Otoplasty can be performed in a hospital, in an outpatient surgical facility or sometimes in the office, depending on the age of the patient and extent of the surgery.
Otolaryngology
Dr. Albert Fox is a Facial Plastic Surgeon who is dual board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Plastic Surgeons

Botox
For most non-surgical treatments (Botox, etc.), it may be possible to have treatment in that initial consultation visit. For surgeries, many factors are involved: required medical/lab tests, stop smoking, etc. It may also be that our surgical schedule is tight. Know that we will accommodate you as best we can.
Brow Lift
A brow lift can raise and reshape the eyebrows, lift and tighten the forehead, and soften the vertical creases between the brows. A number of different techniques can be used to lift the brows. Dr. Albert Fox specializes in a minimally invasive browlift procedure, performed through very small incisions hidden in the scalp using a small camera or endoscope.
Eyelid Surgery
Liposuction
Facial liposuction is typically performed through a small incision below the chin. Liposuction involves the removal of fat cells using special canulas and a suction device.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping, “nose job”) is the surgical procedure used to “sculpt” or shape the nose to achieve a desired result. A nose that is disproportionate, or out of harmony with the face, will draw attention to the nose. The goal of rhinoplasty is to achieve balance and harmony with the face and to draw attention toward the beauty of the eyes.
Plastic Surgery

The full accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) ensures that our office-based surgical center adheres to the highest standards in modern outpatient surgery.
Face Lift
The mini-lift is a minimal-invasive facelift procedure. The goal of the procedure is to improve the neck-line and sagging of the jowls, using a smaller incision around the ear than a traditional face-lift.
Neck Lift
Aging changes may be limited to the neck or sub-mental (below the chin) regions. You may be a candidate for a neck lift. This procedure involves addressing the banding or sagging of the neck. This can be combined with direct fat sculpting or liposuction of the neck to improve the neck contour.
Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is performed through small incisions along the upper and lower lid or behind the lower lid (“transconjunctival”). Excess fat and skin can then be removed.
Otoplasty
Otoplasty is the surgical procedure used to correct protruding or misshapen ears. Protruding ears can not only affect your appearance, it can affect your self-esteem, motivation and social being. Especially amongst children and adolescents, ears that are too large or misshapen can attract unkind remarks. This can affect a child’s or teenager’s emotional and social development. Reshaping the ear through otoplasty has a lifelong and positive impact on our patients.
Scar Revision
Traditional dermabrasion carries the skin resurfacing to a much deeper depth. This allows for treatment of a variety of skin problems. Dermabrasion can be used for scar revision, acne scarring, lip rhytids, as well as the treatment of rhinophyma.
Lip Augmentation
Restylane is FDA approved as a dermal filler treatment. This dermal filler is a natural product that can be used to smooth out wrinkles and folds. Restylane can also be used for lip enhancement and lip augmentation.
Laser Resurfacing
Fractionated CO2 enables your skin to heal more rapidly than traditional CO2 treatments. With fractional laser resurfacing the laser beam is broken up or fractionated into many small micro beams. The laser beams are separated so when they strike the skin surface small areas of the skin between the beams are not treated by the laser and left intact. These small areas of untreated skin promote a much more rapid recovery and healing with less risk of complications. The areas treated by the fractional micro beams, called micro treatment zones, promote new collagen production and resultant facial skin rejuvenation.
Moles
Dr. Albert Fox specializes in mole removal of the face, head, and neck. Moles can be removed under local anesthesia in the office with little or no downtime. Unwanted moles are often a source of dissatisfaction. Mole removal can improve one’s appearance and self-esteem.
Cosmetic Surgery
I did extensive research into cosmetic surgery; the procedures, the risks and surgeons. As much as I hated my jowls and “turkey” neck, I didn’t want to be a statistic of what can go wrong. I met with Dr. Fox and based on his training and experience, I felt everything was going to go well. Dr. Fox was patient with me and my concerns before surgery and more importantly, after. His facility is new and extremely private; his staff is most compassionate to your fears. You feel you’re in good hands and you have made the right decision, and I have. Dr. Fox, again, thank you.
Dermabrasion
Lip lines can be treated with various fillers, such as Volbella. Volbella is an ideal filler that can help erase lip lines due to aging, sun exposure, or smoking. Laser treatments, such as fractionated CO2 laser can also be used to improve lip lines. Dermabrasion of lip lines may be another option. Dr. Albert Fox will help determine what treatment is right for you.
Chin Augmentation
Chin augmentation is performed with the use of an implant. Dr. Albert Fox prefers either a Gore-Tex or silastic implant material for chin augmentation. These materials have an excellent safety record and both offer a very pleasing aesthetic appearance.
Forehead Lift

Dr. Albert Fox underwent additional extensive training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the aging face and neck through a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He trained with Dr. Keith LaFerriere, the past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Dr. Gregory Renner at the University of Missouri. His interests in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery include facelifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow lift and reconstruction of skin cancer defects.
Acne Treatment
Lesions
The Stellar M22 IPL/ResurFX™ light treatment system from Lumenis® uses beams of light to stimulate your face’s natural production of collagen and elastic fibers, improving the overall skin appearance. IPL (intense pulsed light) – also called photorejuvenation – heats precisely-targeted areas and can improve pigmentation in cases of sun/age spots, rosacea, vascular lesions, and more. ResurFX™ is fractional non-ablative resurfacing which addresses skin texture, fine lines, pores, and crepey skin.
Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels offer an excellent means for facial rejuvenation. Chemical peels can be used to treat facial aging changes including wrinkles and creases. Chemical peels can also effectively treat pigmentary changes of skin such as “sun” spots, brown pigment spots, benign and pre-malignant skin conditions.
Skin Care
Today, the skin care market is flooded with products that promise to erase or reduce wrinkles, improve color, texture and overall appearance. The question is what really works? Dr. Albert Fox believes that first and foremost, good skin protection from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays from the sun and tanning can provide a significant long term benefit.
Microdermabrasion
Superficial peels are lighter treatments that use glycolic acid, alpha hydroxyl acid, or Jessner’s peels. Microdermabrasion is a form of superficial peeling. These therapies are beneficial in giving your skin a brighter appearance or “glow”. Many of these treatments are successfully used by well-trained estheticians. Over time, with repeat treatments, very fine wrinkles, pores and skin texture can be improved.

Allergies
Restylane is a crystal-clear gel that is made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that occurs naturally in our skin. As we age, we lose hyaluronic acid, leading to wrinkles and creases. Restylane helps restore skin volume that is lost during the aging process. The ability of hyaluronic acid to bind and retain water, allows it to effectively treat wrinkles and folds. Unlike other fillers (i.e. Collagen), Restylane does not require allergy testing.
