My objective review from a June 2019 DCN Graduate.
A good nursing program can help you graduate with excellent knowledge and training. You can choose from a number of nursing schools in Colorado that offer opportunities through their intensive teaching methods; however, as a recent graduate of The Denver College of Nursing (DCN) stands heads above other nursing programs that I considered. DCN offers accelerated nursing programs that are accredited baccalaureate degree programs by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The BSN-RN degree program is designed to prepare students to excel in their chosen career in nursing. In addition to developing the fundamental skills and knowledge required for the job, the program will also provides the educational program and clinical rotations you need to enter a master’s program (also offered by DCN) or to take on more advanced roles such as clinical nurse specialists or administrators in acute and primary care.
The school will also prepare you to take your career in your chosen area. So, whether you are planning on doing hospital, or community-based nursing, you ‘ll be able to fulfill your role in an effective and efficient manner. DCN has an excellent reputation in terms of highly skilled and educated graduates with Denver hospital and healthcare facilities.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat school!! Instructors are experienced, and knowledgable. Overall, nice pleasant environment, small school feeling and community! Only downside I have seen is the whining and complaining of students who think the classes are too hard. Did someone say nursing school was easy? Then there's the ones who complain because instructors expect them to read the the assigned chapters. The worst are the ones who expect to be saponified test questions. So, I guess the bottom line us that it's a great school, great programs, but if you go, expect to work your behind off because this school's graduates have a 95% pass rate for N-CLEX! If you don't have what it takes to be a good myers, then choose another school!
