The Church At Pecan Creek

The GOOD: very good preaching. We've gone to several different churches this past year and the preaching here was the best yet, solid and founded in scripture, not watered down. The worship team was also good. Nice selection of contemporary and hymn like songs.
THE NOT SO GOOD: No one greeted us. No one. We stood in the crowded lobby for, it seemed like forever, looking for information as to where to take our child for service. As we wondered toward the sanctuary one man said hello and asked if it was our first visit. Maybe it was an off day for everyone as the other reviewers say their experience was different. I hope so because that was very uncomfortable and off putting as a first impression. The only other Not-So-Good thing is they don't have children's ministry. My seven year old had to sit through the entire service with us. It didn't kill him but I think he would be better served with lessons on his second grade level. Oh, and the sermon was on sexual purity in marriage... we learned a new vocabulary word today.
I would give this church another try if they had children's ministry.

Wow! A church that actually teaches the Bible! Our family has finally found a church home after searching for a long time. Good church where it is very easy to meet and get to know people.

Friendly atmosphere with great people. Mixed music of new and old favorites with professionalism that compares with large churches. The preaching of God's word is explained so that you understand his teaching's and the content in which Jesus said it. I learn a deeper understanding of God's word more each Sunday. A closer walk with thee.

The Church at Pecan Creek is a breath of fresh air. The depth of the Bible that is taught here is refreshing. This Christ-centered church and members truly have their hearts and minds focused on glorifying God.

The church is new and easy to get plugged into. The people are very hospitable. The music sounded like all of those involved were professionals. Most importantly God is worshipped, and the Word of God is preached. It is a great church for our whole family
