        I really enjoy BBQ, I have enjoyed BBQ all around the country. The BBQ at the Hogs pen is the best I have ever had in my life!! The food is amazing in general, well worth the wait. The only problem I had is that they only take cash or checks. No credit or check cards, and they are only open three days a week... So plan carefully.... Hogs pen is the only place I want to eat at when I get out that way.

        Good smoked flavor and delicious sides

        Their meat was smoked well and was lean. I had the pork dinner. Potato salad was almost as good as my mom's. All homemade sides and sauces. Very good food.

        i dont know what that guy is talking about. Mr Forte loves all colors, even his own kind, what ever that may be. Done knock him just because you are unsure of yourself.

        Hog Pen owner, your BBQ is ok but it's not the best I've tasted. Although after not coming to your resturant for about five years because I got the impression that you discriminate against your own color, I realize that you probably builded your business on catering for the whites but I'm sure your kind has supported you also. After talking to an associate about BBQ, sharing with her that I crave BBQ rib tips, she talked me into buying some from you guys, well it ok, well enough for me to try the second time. Now, I got another issue, I'm at work and I've tried calling your phone to place an order for 30 minutes and got no answer, and this is the final turn off.
