This 'professional' was involved in a child custody case involving an alcoholic. With very little background and NO investigation of the facts, she presented her opinion in court, writing rave reviews on several occasions. This person was granted overnight visitation, had been caught on several occasions with PRE-SCHOOL children, passed out, and now has NO rights to the children whatsoever.Ms. Reinert ruins lives, costing emotion, money, and pain. Because of her, the scars we must live with will never leave. She forms and injects her opinions without fact or investigation. I can only hope someone in El Paso County has caught on, since we cannot depend on the judges to stop her.Do yourself a favor - go elsewhere, or insist your lawyer or judge find someone else.

Please, please, please be careful with this wack job. "Google" her, ask around the community. I am not sure how this individual continues to play any role in mental health or custody evaluations. Unbelievable. Someone needs to do something to put the professionals into these roles. Agree with other reviewers all over the web: negative stars

You will feel as though you cannot ask for competence without retaliation from this "professional". Whomever seeks her out first is favored in a dispute. There is no responsibility of conduct that can be counted on with this individual. This person has been in the circle of courts and child parenting plan decisions so long, she forgets her fundamental obligations. This practice has nothing to do with benefiting children and everything to do with holding power over unaware and desperate parent's in need of resolution.

Ask around. Read reviews. Get information. This practitioner was appointed by the court to act as a "Parenting Coordinator" for our family. She immediately assumed powers that had not been granted by the court, and violated 8 of the 9 State Supreme Court guidelines for Parenting Coordinators. Beware.

Just a hint for anyone looking for a mental health professional: look up and read complaints filed at knowyourcourts.com. Do the research before entering into any sort of relationship with some "professionals". We wish we had looked into this mental health "professional" prior to our ordeal. You owe it to yourself when your whole family and life is at stake.

minus stars-Do yourself a HUGE favor and find another "professional". Read the complaints filed on her first. If you have to deal with Carol Reinert, make sure you record every single conversation with her. It was the only way to sift through her lies.
