        Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' founders. Herb and Carol BLOOMBERG interest in owning a theatre blossomed in 1965. When the couple was building a NEW home for the OLD LOG theater. BLOOMBERG'S theatre opened in 1968. But it wasn T until 1970 that audiences began attending in earnest. The BLOOMBERGS then added a 125-SEAT dinner playhouse. In 1973, a courtyard was enclosed to become another dinner theatre to accommodate 180 people. In 1978 the fireside was built. Which seats 230. In addition to the four existing dinner theatre spaces. Chanhassen features three banquet rooms and a ballroom used for weddings. Banquets and business meetings. Since Chanhassen theatres opened. More than 220 plays have been produced and played to more than 10 million guests. The Company employs 250 to 300 people in a variety of occupations WHO work together to create an experience for the Theatre's more than 260.000 guests PER year. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is located in Chanhassen. Minn.

        Love this theatre!

        Despite being in a funky, old,, too small, added onto, building, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre has consistently, over many years, provided well done, quality family entertainment at at great price. I started going here as a teenager, and am stillenjoyingthe shows 30 years later. The food is OK.. .Well, it's tough to do 500 meals at the same time! Order the Chicken Chanhassen, it's generally very good.

        Mis informed

        Called in order for 2 pizzas. Was not told time frame. When I arrived my time 12 minutes later my time frame started at 8 minutes then 14 minutes. Waited a total 30 minutes. And had wrong toppings on one pizza! WTH
