Just had a Fence installed by North Shore Fence and it is Beautiful! The men who installed it were professional and gave great attention to detail. The pricing was very competitive. The Fence and Gates are sturdy and Expertly installed. The Quality is outstanding and it looks like this fence will live longer than I will. AND my neighbors are so happy, too- my old wood fence was a ramshackle eye sore! Thank you so much, to Joe, Sue, Jim and Arlene...of North Shore Fence! Job Well Done!

I am amazed at these negative reviews . Just had another fence installed by them and was completely satisfied. I used them 12 years ago and they were great ,used them on another property today and everthing worked out great. Customer service was good . Their quality of fencing was above what some other estimates were offering. My house will blow down before the fence does.

Worst fence company. Was replacing a fence that had a North Shore Fence tag on it...easily 20 year old cedar fencing. Went down figuring that if the last one lasted that long the new one should be same quality. Went with a dog ear picket fence that I was told might be upgraded to tongue and groove because they had left over stock. Day of install came just regular dog ear and installer had no idea what i was talking about. Install job was shabby at best and it was only 20 sections total. Two gates never closed properly from day one. 5 years into it the one gate completely rotted out. I call and told the woman that its only 5 years old and they cedar would last me 10-15 years. I was told that even though they manufacture the fence its wood and they provide no warranty. Now at the 6 year mark the second gate breaks. As I looked at the fence evert horizontal 2X3 is rotted. This fence was complete junk at $100 per section installed. Beware of this company as they sell complete crappy grade cedar fencing. Im pulling this junk down and finding a privacy chain link thru another company.

I had my fence installed over a month ago. There are still problems that have not been solved. We have called several times and still nothing has been done. I'm sorry I used this company. For a few bucks more I should have gone else where.

This company should be avoided for cedar fence. They sold me a fence that they manufacture and 5 years later it conpletely fell apart from dry rot. No warrantly or recourse. At 100 per section installed you would think they would make it right. Beware! They dont stand behind their own manufactured products.

North Shore Fence & Contractor Supply didn't have all of my post caps when they installed the fence, which was annoying that I had to go to the store and pick it up. They also claimed they had to chip away at my walkway and did so without measuring first...Of course, they didn't need to and their attempt to replace the concrete section looks hideous. Their installers (limited English speaking) couldn't even set the gate correctly, leaving me to do it myself, since it kept scraping the post. More recently the bottom rail gave way and cracked where the fencing rests (12/2012). They wanted $300 to send a truck to fix 2 pieces and told me it wasn't their problem!!! After spending $12000 on a fence, I do have to say I expected a little better customer service! Based on how their attitude towards their customer (me) changed, I would not recommend them to a friend/relative, since I don't want them to do the same to them. Buyer beware...Normal sales scenario here, they care until they have all your money!
